Meet Our Team

Dr. Ingram is a psychotherapist, author, researcher, and educator with more than 30 years of teaching experience. Dedicated to trauma-informed mindfulness and inclusive education, Dr. Ingram works to support individuals and communities that have been historically marginalized and underserved. A frequent guest lecturer and international conference presenter, Dr. Ingram is committed to making social-emotional education accessible to diverse communities. Her work integrates neurobiological principles with practical social-emotional learning strategies that promote personal growth and empowerment. Dr. Ingram is also a passionate advocate and researcher whose work explores the intersections of learning, well-being, and the carceral system, reflecting her commitment to social justice and systemic change. She is the author of Nice to Meet You: An Oral History Collection for Developing Cultural Competence. Leading with expertise, compassion, and purpose, Dr. Ingram is dedicated to helping individuals and communities thrive.

Cory Logston, Ph.D.
Vice President

Cory Logston, Ph.D., is a media psychologist, researcher, and educator whose work explores how media and learning experiences can promote perspective-taking, dialogue, and civic engagement. Her research focuses on immersive and emerging media, adult learning, and the use of narrative to create meaningful opportunities for learning and connection. Dr. Logston brings an interdisciplinary background to CBREE Institute, combining research, program development, and creative media production. Her current work includes the development of Bridge to Civics, a civic-learning initiative that uses accessible, scenario-based microlearning to help adults connect civic knowledge to everyday life. Her research has also examined immersive media and perspective-taking, virtual reality for learning and social change, and the use of immersive experiences to support well-being among older adults. She earned her Ph.D. in Media Psychology from Fielding Graduate University and brings more than two decades of experience in visual storytelling and media production to her research and educational work. At CBREE Institute, she contributes to research, program development, educational initiatives, and community-based projects designed to translate knowledge into meaningful practice.
